An essay written as If I am a soldier describing the advantages and disadvantages of new weapons and methods :

There are too many weapons for fighting in the war. The flame thrower i a new one, it can throw a burning liquid through the air to the enemy but i's not really useful because it's quite likely to explode and kill the soldier using it . Another new method is the use of gas but id doesn't not effective at all because the both sides had developed gas masks so we are protected and there wouldn't be any difference. Artillery is a method too, it means using heavy field guns to bombar enemy trenches, but is not really helpful because it just simply warns the enemy of a possible attac. The creeping barriage is not effective neither and tanks are not reliable, they often break down in battle. I don't know if things will get better or we'll continue loosing , i just wanna go home, It's not like I thought it was to be......
